| 1. The
Poor

Lowell
Transitional Living Center
The Lowell Transitional Living Center (LTLC)
is the last stop for many folks who have 'fallen through the cracks'
of society's safety net. Many suffer from mental illness, and are
struggling with issues of addiction. Others are experiencing
financial difficulty due to an insufficient educational background
and poor job skills. Still others are veterans of our foreign wars,
working folks who cannot find decent, safe housing due to the
nationwide shortage of affordable housing, young adults who have
nowhere to go and more recently, record numbers of senior citizens
whose families have moved on or given up on them. The Lowell
Transitional Living Center is a warm bed, a hot meal and protection
from the cold. And even more important than the medical care,
counseling, housing support, and case management services that we
offer, is the intangible but critically important gift of hope the
LTLC offers to our guests.
Our church
supports the Lowell Transitional Living Center with socks at
Christmas.
Billerica Food Pantry
– These are difficult economic times for many people. Food
Pantries are a way to fill the gap of needs for people who have lost
their jobs or have reduced incomes. The church regularly collects
food for the food pantry.
Mark 10:21 Jesus looked at him and loved him.
"One thing you lack," he said. "Go, sell everything
you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.
Then come, follow me."

brothers. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some
people has entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those in
prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are
mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
5. Non-Christians abroad

Wycliffe
Bible Translators - Bryan and Mary Keef
Bryan and Mary
Keef live in Orlando, FL. Wycliffe believes: 1) The
Bible is God's message for people everywhere, 2) The message of the
Bible is evangelistic and is the basis for church planting and
growth, 3) The most effective means of communication is the mother
tongue, 4) For a church to be truly indigenous, it must have the
Bible in its mother tongue, 5) Bible translation is the task of the
whole Church, and everyone can have a part.
