Other Ways You Can Help Us

Often times we think the only way to help reach our campaign goals is to donate money.  However, there are other ways you can help that are just as important (if not more important) than giving money.  
1.  Prayer

Please pray for the Steps of Faith campaign to help us reach our goal.

Campaign Prayer:

Lord Jesus as we step out in faith, seeking your will, give us courage and strength to follow where you lead us during this building campaign.  Please let our "Steps of Faith" honor you in all we do.  Amen.

 

 

2. eBay logo

Have any junk in your house you want to get rid of?  Put it up for auction on eBay!  One person's junk is another person's treasure.  Chuck Kemp will place your items up for auction on eBay.  www.ebay.com

For those who are unfamiliar with eBay, it is an Internet auction web site where buyers can bid on millions of items put up for auction by sellers.  This is a great way to donate extra money to the Steps of Faith campaign.  Just about anything can be put up for auction:  books, cds, tapes, records, old magazines, movies, cars, antiques, jewelry, clothing, computers, appliances, toys, video games, sports memorabilia, baseball cards, coins, stamps, musical instruments, etc.

In March, one church member auctioned off 8 video games that totaled $70.00!  If you auction off an item, you can decide the percentage of the final sale you want to go to the campaign.

3. Avon logo

Sue McGeoghegan, a member of our church, is conducting a Church Avon Fundraiser.  It began in November 2002.  She placed orders for people from the Avon catalogs and also did "cash & carry" after Sunday worship services.  From her earnings, she donates 25% to the church building fund (she makes only 15%).  Sale items earn 10% for the church.  So far Avon sales have made $382.31 for the church!

You are encouraged to stop by the Avon table during Coffee Hour to take a look at the great products Avon offers!  It's not just toiletries, nor is it only for women!  There are toys, clothes, jewelry, statues, and more!  Please take home some Avon Books and show them around.  ALL orders that you bring to me will go to the Steps of Faith Campaign!
